I am often described as having a relaxed nature and warm personality that keeps people at ease and relaxed on their big day. I have performed traditional weddings and not so traditional weddings. As long as its two people in love I’m your celebrant!
I am happy to conduct your ceremony your way, whatever you choose it will be the right way for you.
The day should reflect your wants and needs, I will take care of the legal side and you do the rest!
Full Celebrant service includes;
Introductory meeting Free of Charge at Hewitts Homestead
or your home or a Palmerston North venue
Help with writing your vows
Ideas for the structure of your ceremony
Inspiration for rituals in your ceremony
Writing your ceremony
Second meeting to go through your ceremony (if needed)
Rehearsal ceremony at your chosen venue (within 20km of HH)
A qualified and registered celebrant to perform the legal ceremony on your chosen day
Ensuring your ceremony is as stress free as possible
Includes travel within 20km of Hewitts Homestead for your Ceremony
Weddings between – 1st April 2023 to 31st March 2024 – $450
Weddings After – 31st March 2024 – $500
If either member of the bridal couple has a terminal illness or if you are a couple that is suffering financial hardship and really want to get married I offer you a simple ceremony for a koha.

Personal Note; I have been married to Phil for over 30 years. Marriage isn’t easy. It’s not about you or them. It’s about the partnership, how you co-operate. It’s about the give and take. The crying and laughing together. The support; physical, emotional and spiritual. It’s about loving each other unreservedly.
Phil is my rock, my soul mate and my friend. Life with him has been full of laughs, and sometimes tears, one thing I can be certain of; his commitment to me and our marriage. When I look back on the 30 plus years that we have been married, and the few years before that, I can’t believe how much we have been through together, grown together and loved together.
When I write your ceremony, I do so from a personal perspective. Understanding your needs and your wants is important. Your ceremony is individual to you, just like your wedding and your marriage will be. I wish you good luck and lots of love on the road ahead. Don’t forget, you are in this together.
